Yarns produced from regenerated cellulose fiber in filament form are called floss yarn. Fabrics produced with floss yarns are called floss fabrics.
It is a yarn obtained by false twisting after the texturing process, twisted as S and/or Z, and has elastic properties.
FDY-Fully Drawn Yarn means fully drawn yarn. It is mostly obtained by drawing polyester fibers at high winding speeds in POY and FDY production lines.
Since POY is drawn on the production line at speeds varying between 3500-4200 m/min, the orientation of the polymer is not completed. Therefore, it shows high elongation and shear tensile properties.
Intermingle yarn is a type of yarn that creates a knotted structure by holding the filaments of the yarn together with compressed air, and eliminates the tendency to separate in straight yarns by twisting.
Frize yarn is yarn with thin and narrow curls that is created by feeding a little more than the main yarn. They vary in color, thickness and feeding differences. They occur in the moment section or during spinning.
Melange yarn is a type of yarn created by combining yarns of various colors in a certain ratio. This mixing takes place during the blending or spinning stage.
Lurex achieves a variety of appearances and functions by twisting or puncturing different yarns. Metallic threads of different widths are produced by cutting aluminum-coated polyester films.
