FDY-Fully Drawn Yarn means fully drawn yarn. It is mostly obtained by drawing polyester fibers at high winding speeds in POY and FDY production lines (5500 – 7000 m/min). The molecules are fully oriented. It is a ready-to-use yarn because it has low physical values such as elongation, boiling and shrinkage.
